As your locally-owned utility. our employees and customers are our most valuable asset. In order to continue to provide safe, efficient and reliable service to our customers, we will continue to put employee and customer safety first. To limit the community spread of the COVID-19 virus while maintaining the resources needed to run our operations, we are taking the following steps to continue to serve our customers and respond to outages as we implement the following changes:
- The utility office will be closed to walk-in traffic until further notice. We encourage you to communicate with us via email or telephone.
- We have many payment options available. You can pay your bill online, by phone, outside drop box at the office or Piggly Wiggly, Direct Payment Plan, or by mail.
- We are following the guidelines recommended by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) for personal hygiene and have increased disinfection methods and frequesncy of all high touch areas.
Consistent with Governor Evers Emergency Order #12, Safer at Home, Menasha Utiities has begun remote operations. Employees working remotely will be responding to phone messages and email regarding utility services. Employees will be practicing social distancing and workgroup separation to conduct essential services. Employees working remotely are required to report in person within 30 minutes should an emergency situation arise. All critical essential services to our customers will be maintained during this time. Menasha Utilities is working with the City of Menasha Health Dept and continuosly working to monitor and contain the COVID-19 situation and implement state and federal orders.
